Building Fun
March 25, 2009
We’ve always been excited about being a home builder. There’s something about knowing you’re creating a place where people are going to be celebrating Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas mornings that’s gratifying. It’s also a responsibility.
At Carbon River Homes, we really try to anticipate how our homes will work once real people are using them. It’s not unusual for the superintendent and the designer to stand in front of a linen closet and ask, “So, you’re arms are full of laundry and you’ve got to open this door. Which way should it swing?” No kidding. It’s this kind of purposeful attention to detail that we believe sets Carbon River Homes apart from our competition.
Sometimes we get it wrong. We kick ourselves and vow never to do that again (whatever it was). You could say we’re continually upgrading ourselves. All with the determined intent to build the best possible home we can. One where a new homeowner doesn’t even think about how well everything works. It just does.
